Those of you who know me well know that I am somewhat frighteningly obsessed with miniature things.  Blame it on the dollhouse, blame it on the absurd cuteness, blame it on whatever you may – it’s true. I am a miniature fanatic.

Those of you who know Zack well know that he is somewhat frighteningly obsessed with burgers.  Blame it on the grass-fed beef, blame it on the secret sauce, blame it on whatever you may – it’s true.  Zack is a burger fanatic.

It was none other than fate that brought our love for all things miniature/burger together and it happened the day I discovered “the slider.” For those of you who are reading this, you’re probably already smiling to yourselves thinking “It’s brilliance! Sheer brilliance! You take a good ole’ hamburger…and make it miniature!”

That’s what I said!

Curious about the origins of this fateful masterpiece, I wikipedia’ed it and learned that the slyder was “invented” by Walter Anderson who is now famous for his chain of fast food restaurants called White Castle.  Yep, that’s right.  White Castle invented the slider.

After the release of Upton Sinclair’s The Jungle, American’s weren’t to keen on eating beef, so Andersen established a white (pure) castle (stability) to serve the mini burgers.

OK, I digress…

The point here really is to show you pictures of some darn good sliders I’ve eaten. So let’s get to the point!

Good night :)
